Beyond the gift shop

The National Gallery Company, the commercial arm of London’s National Gallery, felt that their branding did not give them sufficient scope to develop activities in a way that effectively celebrated and promoted the Institution and its remarkable Collection. Fortune Street worked with the board on a new brand strategy that focused the Company's activities on driving commercial success through visitor appreciation and understanding of the Collection, independently from the Gallery’s exhibition programme. We have developed a punchy, commercial visual identity, a new strategy for retail and product development, and continue to work with them on a new strategy for developing commercial partnerships with the National Gallery brand and a new strategy for publishing and online activities.
